Have you thought
about eventing but felt you were not ready?
Now you can compete in
a horse trials without the pressure of making time or
jumping "big" fences. Briar Fox Farm is offering a
Starter Division at all 3 of our horse trials in 2007.
Briar Fox Farm The Starter Division allows
the horse and/or the rider to get their "feet wet".
Hopefully, the horse and rider will go away thinking:
"Hey, this is pretty cool. Think I'll move up next
time".
The horse/rider will
compete in the same phases as the other riders;
Dressage, Cross Country and Stadium. The dressage
test for the Starter Division will be the USDF 2007
Intro Test B (Walk-trot). The Cross Country test
concentrates on steering questions with obstacles that
can be trotted or even walked over. The Stadium
course is a mini-course consisting of cross-bars that
can be trotted.
The Starter Division
is intended to give the rider and/or the horse the
opportunity to
"Experience Eventing and Build
Confidence". Come be a part of our horse trials.
Take advantage of the beautiful landscape. Enjoy
the absolutely competitor-friendly atmosphere. You
will be glad you did. Who knows, you may be going
Prelim in a few years.
