Eager to teach riding skills to students using a unique combination of educational experience coupled with over 30 years’ equestrian industry background in equestrian center management. This includes organizing horse shows, riding clinics and camps. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and has completed courses towards a Masters Degree. Experienced in teaching Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country Jumping. She has 15 years experience as the head trainer for highly competitive dressage (Training Level through FEI), show jumping and cross country eventing students. She has a successful record training students to qualify and attend International, National, Regional and Local Competitions. Including the 2003 North American Young Riders Championships in Canada & the US Area IV 2004 Regional Champions in Prix St Georges Level and Intermediare Level. Additionally, the US Area IX 2008 Regional Champion in Prix St Georges. She is a member of the US Equestrian Federation and a Licensed Official as a USEF 'r' Dressage Judge, US EVenting Association and other Midwestern Equestrian Organizations. She has served as Director of Briar Fox Farm Lesson Program since 1980. She teaches Dressage Clinics and gives lectures in the United States and Europe. She is actively involved in equestrian industry affairs at the local, regional & national levels and attends equestrian education seminars & clinics to continue her education. She has proven athletic administration skills in helping students to manage their budgets, show scheduling, travel plans & competition goals. She is dedicated to enthusiastic and dynamic teaching as a means of creating a lifelong love for and knowledge of horses and horsemanship.
