What, Where, When, Who and How
Much....are Riding Lessons at Briar Fox Farm
Prospective students are invited to watch lessons & meet the instructors before deciding to enroll. To participate all riders or their guardians are required to sign a Liability Release form. Long pants or breeches must be worn. Riding boots or paddock boots with a 1" heel and comfortable weather appropriate clothing. We will loan you a riding helmet until you are certain of your commitment. Lessons are 45 minutes long and include how to groom, tack up and put the horse. Expect to learn mounted skills at the walk, trot & canter. Later lessons teach cavaletti and trail riding. BFF students range in size, age and skill levels. We welcome men, women and children ages 6 and up.

What if I don't have my own horse?
BFF has school horses varying in age, size and training. Our
school horses are safe, patient and well
mannered. When you are ready to purchase your own horse, BFF can help you select the right mount for your
skill level & goals. Need a place to keep your new
