BFF XC Courses help you to develop your event horse's full potential: The overall design of all 5 courses work together for systematic progress thru the different levels. Using years of our event organizing experience we created solid, safe & appropriate obstacles. Serious consideration is given to the progressive skills of horses/riders. Some courses teach, some test and some entertain. BFF courses teach at the lower levels & test at Prelim.
Our Courses Follow Classic Design Principles: The footing is consistent thruout & well-maintained. Formerly native grassland (never plowed) it withstands wear & drains well. During dry periods, the track is aeriated to provide good galloping conditions between fences. With many natural features, BFF is an ideal eventing terrain. Dressage has an all weather surface on flat ground. Show jumping also has flat ground. The XC offers gentle slopes, wooded areas, natural streams & banks & rolling countryside.
To Best Serve Your Eventing Needs: BFF changes the course track every other event & adds new fences at each event. The site offers 2 different tracks with an ideal series of loops & routes that "flow". Careful planning has provided each level with an appropriate variety of fences meeting a consistent standard of rules for difficulty thruout it's length.
